Temple Shalom offers a Reform Jewish community with opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, lifelong learning, and social interaction. We are a diverse community, rooted in tradition, yet moving towards the future. As such, we welcome young and old members of Acadiana who practice Judaism, seek to explore Judaism, and/or are interfaith families seeking to honor and support the Jewish elements of their family identity. We wish to inspire individuals to strengthen their identities as part of Am Yisrael (the Jewish People) and to participate actively in our Jewish community.

When the rabbi is visiting: Saturday morning Torah study takes place at 10 AM.Adult study on varying topics is offered on Saturday at 8 PM (see the calendar for location). Additional adult classes are sometimes offered. See the bulletin and the calendar for more information.
Temple Shalom Religious School holds classes for Pre-K 4 through 10th grade on Sundays at 9:45 AM – noon at 603 Lee Avenue.
